Golf Attire
The Minikahda Club follows a tradition of conservative golf attire.
The following rules apply during golf season to the Golf Course, Driving Range, Golf Practice Areas, Golf Shop, and Teaching Areas.
Gentlemen- Sports shirts with collars, sports tees, mock turtlenecks, sweaters or outerwear, rain jackets or pants. Shirts must be tucked in whenever the garment is designed to be tucked in.
- Properly fitted slacks or shorts (Bermuda/fingertip length).
- Golf shoes with soft spikes or athletic shoes with rubber soles.
- Caps are to be worn forward and removed when entering the Clubhouse with the exception of outdoor dining areas, the Porch, and going to and from the Locker Room.
- Inappropriate golf attire includes athletic shorts, cotton or fleece athletic pants, t-shirts, sports jerseys, athletic tank tops, tennis attire, all blue denim, cargo pants or shorts, yoga pants or tights, non-athletic shoes.
- Shirts with or without collars are acceptable, sweaters or outerwear, rain jackets or pants.
- Properly fitted slacks, skirts or shorts (Bermuda/fingertip length).
- Golf shoes with soft spikes or athletic shoes with rubber soles.
- Hats are to be worn forward and are permitted at outdoor dining areas, in the Porch and going to and from the Locker Room.
- Inappropriate golf attire includes short shorts or short skirts, all blue denim, leggings, tights, sweatpants, yoga pants, camisole tops, strap tops, athletic tank tops, racer-back tops or midriff tops, non-athletic shoes.
- During months that the golf course is closed, appropriate fitting blue denim is allowed in the Golf Shop, Teaching Areas, and other golf areas only.
